An overview of a multifamily housing model started in Denmark and brought to the United States in the late 1980’s. Cohousing combines a collaborative and cooperative community of full-featured private residences with common spaces, activities, and governance (no shared income). Examples in the U.S. will be discussed. Resources will be recommended to use for follow up. If you register for the online section, you will be emailed the content link and may view it anytime.
