An overview of a multifamily housing model started in Denmark and brought to the United States in the late 1980s. Cohousing combines a collaborative and cooperative community of private residences with common spaces, activities, and governance (no shared income). Examples in the U.S. will be discussed. Resources will be recommended to use for follow-up.
