This one-hour course explores the extremely strange career of Tiny Tim through curated clips and rich background research. He was greatly misunderstood as a novelty act. On the one hand, he was thoroughly sincere and authentic, to the surprise of all who met him. On the other, he was a noted expert and archivist of early 20th Century vocal stylings. His bizarre health obsessions and strange tensions between religion and sex make him truly not like you and me, and thus interesting.
