Students should have basic 5-string skills and be able to play some tunes from memory.

Also shopping for banjos and accessories, chords, practice methods, reading banjo tablature with eventual learning to play by ear, and some basic bluegrass tunes. Please bring a 5-string banjo in playable condition, 1 thumb pick and 2 finger picks.
