Instructor: Laurie Pinther This class is for you! You don't need any art experience as this is an experimental process that allows you to be creative and expressive. This is a fun class to learn how to combine mixed media layers to create art. We will explore several mixed media techniques and practice creating layers using a variety of tools and art supplies to experiment with color and texture to create your one of a kind art projects (many to choose from or bring your own project or art journal). Are you grieving the loss of a loved one or experiencing another loss in your life? Over the course of 3 sessions, you will create your own art journal and get assistance in creating your pages. Your journal could be filled with thoughts, feelings, or memories. An art journal can include drawing, collaging, photographs, painting, writing, and more to express your thoughts and emotions. You don’t need to be able to draw or paint to enjoy art journaling. You will learn simple techniques for using papers, inks, paint, and other medium to create pages.
