Create a 4” x 4” fused glass tile made out of shards of fusible glass. Glass tile will be created during class, then put in firing kiln and ready for pick up two weeks after class session is held. With just a bit of skill and some simple tools, you can easily mat, mount and frame work yourself, instead of using a frame shop. Personalize your walls and save some money by doing it yourself. Instructor will give you guidance on sizing, color, framing ideas and more. $15 materials payable to instructor at class.

Instructor: Laurie Pinther This class is for you! You don't need any art experience as this is an experimental process that allows you to be creative and expressive. This is a fun class to learn how to combine mixed media layers to create art. We will explore several mixed media techniques and practice creating layers using a variety of tools and art supplies to experiment with color and texture to create your one of a kind art projects (many to choose from or bring your own project or art journal). Additional supply fee of $25 due to the instructor at class (cash or check).

Gelli Plate Printing uses a gelatin plate to press to paper. The process is easy as the printing ink is put on the gelli surface, spread out with a brayer, and then a variety of stencils and other textural objects are placed on the gelli plate, removed and printed onto paper. Come experience the fun! Materials fee: $25 paid to instructor

Instructor: Deb Hannu Want to learn about composition and color? How to ‘get started’ with a painting? What types of paints are out there, and what’s best for what purpose? We’ll focus on COLOR, as well as experiment with some tips, tricks and techniques as you dip a brush into the world of painting. (Recommend taking Drawing first!) If you have painting supplies that you’d like to use, feel free to bring them along. We will have materials here for you to use as well. You can also choose to order a kit to take home for an additional cost if you wish (info available the first night of class). Instructor: Cindy Ericksmoen Come and learn to craft your beautiful Scandinavian Sami-inspired bracelet using traditional Sami techniques. New patterns and silver beads and new colors; poppy, navy, mulberry, steel and sky. All materials are imported from Sweden and include: imported 4% silver scandinavian thread, reindeer leather and shed reindeer antler button. Bracelets are custom made, so you will need the wrist measurement if giving as a gift. Additional supply fee of $45 due to the instructor at class (cash or check).
