Duluth Ukulele Community StrumMusicInstructor: Christina Cotruvo DUCS jam sessions bring together all types of ukuleles and skill levels of adult players who want to play their ukulele in a fun setting. We will play from The Daily Ukulele Another Year songbook, each person taking a turn in selecting a song for the group to play. Each player must bring their own ukulele, music stand, songbook and tuner and be familiar with at least 3 chords.Spring/Summer 26 -
Shape Note SingingMusicThis class will introduce you to the robust rhythms, haunting harmonies, and distinctive old-timey sound of Early American shape note music, so-called because the written music uses four differently-shaped notes.
