Join us for four weeks of heaven as we survey the sky. We’ll use the planetarium to get better acquainted with the current constellations, planets and deep-sky objects. On clear nights after class, we’ll meet at Hawk Ridge to see these spectacular sights through a telescope. Class will be held in person at the UMD Marshall Alworth Planetarium. Online lessons and pool time will give you the knowledge and skills to make the open water dives required for certification. There is an additional equipment fee of $150 payable to the instructor which includes all scuba gear as well as materials. Participants will need their own mask, fins and snorkel.
